The First Glorious Mystery - The Resurrection of our Lord
Simon Peter came…and went into the tomb; he saw the linen cloth lying, and the napkin, which had been on his head, not lying with the linen cloths but rolled up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not know the scripture; that he must rise from the dead.
The Gospel according to John
The disciple whom Jesus loves peers into the empty tomb and believes. Ask Our Lady to help you as you pray this decade to experience the hope of those who believe in her Son’s glorious resurrection.

The Second Glorious Mystery - The Ascension of our Lord
As they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

The ascension of Our Lord into heaven leaves the Apostles looking upward, but the angel tells them the Lord will return. Ask Our Lady to help you as you pray this decade to experience the triumph of the Lord’s ascension and the glorious hope of His return.

The Third Glorious Mystery - The Descent of the Holy Spirit
Suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The apostles were instructed by Our Lord to await the coming of the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem. They fulfill their mission from the Lord and are blessed with the coming of the Spirit. Ask Our Lady to help you as you pray this decade to experience the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.

The Fourth Glorious Mystery - The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin
The princess is decked in her chamber with gold-woven robes; in many-colored robes she is led to the king, with her virgin companions, her escort, in her train. With joy and gladness they are led along as they enter the palace of the king.
Psalm 45
Jesus had promised that whoever believed in Him would share in His resurrection. Our Lady is the first believer and the first to experience the fruits of His redemption, both in her immaculate conception and now in her glorious assumption. Ask Our Lady to help you as you pray this decade to believe as she did.

The Fifth Glorious Mystery - The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven
A great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

Mary is crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth. She is the mother of the Church. Ask Our Lady to help you as you pray this decade to enjoy her glorious intercession for all your needs here on this earth.

O GOD, WHOSE only begotten Son by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that by meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

1st Station - Pilate condemns Jesus to die.
Jesus has been scourged and crowned with thorns. Now, Pilate unjustly condemns him to die upon a cross.

2nd Station - Jesus accepts his cross
Jesus is given a cross to carry on his bleeding and bruised shoulders. He takes his cross upon himself as he takes upon himself all of our sins.

3rd Station - Jesus falls the first time
Jesus, weakened by all His suffering stumbles and falls on the way to Calvary. He struggles and rises, despite his pain, to go onward toward his death.

4th Station - Jesus meets his mother
Jesus, on his way to Calvary, sees His mother. Both are stricken with grief. Her love for him is surpassed only by his love and concern for her.

5th Station - Simon helps carry the cross
Jesus is growing weaker. Fearing that He may not be able to go on, His executioners force Simon of Cyrene to help Him carry His cross

6th Station - Veronica wipes the face of Jesus
Jesus face is bathed in sweat and blood. Veronica, moved by pity, wipes His face with her veil and the image of His holy face is imprinted on the cloth

Jesus falls again under the weight of the cross. His executioners drag Him to his feet and force Him to go onward to Calvary

8th Station - Jesus speaks to the women.
Jesus is so bruised and bleeding that the women of Jerusalem weep when they see Him. He tells them, "Weep not for me, but rather for your children."

Jesus, weak and exhausted , falls for the third time. Though He hardly has strength to move, they make Him walk faster.

Jesus has reached the summit of Calvary, the place of His execution. As they strip Him of His garments, they reopen His bleeding wounds.

Jesus is now thrown down upon the cross. His executioners violently stretch His limbs and fasten them with crude nails to the wood.

12th Station - Jesus dies upon the cross.
Jesus is crucified. After three hours of agony and pain, He commands His spirit to His father, bows His head and dies.

13th Station - Jesus is taken from the cross.
Jesus’ lifeless body is taken from the cross by His disciples Joseph and Nicodemus. Tenderly, they place Him in the arms of His sorrowing mother.

Jesus's body is wrapped in a shroud and placed in the nearby sepulcher of a friend.
Then a large stone is rolled against the entrance, and they depart
